Soul Food Sunday – February 23rd, 2025
The Soul Food Sunday worship service begins at 11AM on February 23rd at the Hollywood Campus for in person worship as we celebrate Black History and Excellence! We will have special music our Hollywood Cancel Choir and special guest musicians. A perfect day to bring friends and family members with you! (This will be live streamed on both campuses platforms.)
- After church, there will be a wonderful BBQ lunch for a $25 per person if you pre-buy tickets here at this link, or $30 cash at the door.
- All proceeds from this Soul Food Sunday Lunch will be going toward the many people affected by the devastating wildfires that began on January 7th, 2025. Altadena is a historic Black community that grew out of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s.
- Chef Antonio (Tone) from Altadena will provide a hot Southern lunch. The menu will feature: Bbq pork ribs, Bbq chicken, Bbq rib tips, Beef hot links, Mac and cheese, Bbq baked beans, Collard greens, Potato salad and Salad. There will be a limited vegan option as well.
