Sunday, August 18th, we encourage all students and teachers to bring in their backpacks to be blessed for the new school year!

We are also collecting new backpacks and school supplies for the LAUSD Homeless Outreach Program, which ensures that children who are living in shelters and transitional housing are able to attend school. (Below is a list of requested items).

Join in this Annual HUMC Tradition and help us help others! AND please note that we have been requested to avoid RED backpacks due to gang related issues at some schools in the district.
